behind the scenes
Here we have made a copy of one single link from the design we created for Daenerys’s Mother Of Dragons Chain, it is the biggest one!
Each link was originally hand carved in wax, using fine carving tools and hot pens. We wear special magnifying glasses to create detail when we are sculpting. We made each link as a whole piece first, and then removed sections to create a skeletal feel.
